Jesus Boy

Being a dreadlocked youth in this country is not for the faint-hearted.
The moment they see the locs, the stereotypes start flying — they think you're lazy, addicted to vibes, and chasing nothing but smoke and sound. But God is Great, and I’m not here to meet their expectations.
This dread thinks. This dread builds.
I’m not just growing hair — I’m growing systems, building futures, and shaping communities. Some think all a Rasta can do is sing or paint, but my life is proof that we can code, teach, organize, lead global conversations, and spark revolutions of the mind.
I’m JJ Robinson — I choose purpose over popularity, intelligence over ignorance, and creativity over conformity.
I care about justice, innovation, and leaving a legacy that goes far beyond vanity metrics.
So if my locs and my lifestyle offend your Babylon programming, feel free to scroll past.
I’m a joyful, unapologetic African changemaker — and I’m just getting started.
